Zumba! Zumba!

Work has been looking a little more positive lately.  I can't say that "Nosy B*tch" has stopped pulling any of her tricks, but I'm wising up as to how to deal with her.  I noticed once again work that didn't look like my own, so I forwarded it on to my supervisor (explaining that I would be more than happy to fix the error, however it didn't look like my writing style).  She looked into the situation and found out that it was generated on "Nosy B*tch's" computer, my supervisor said that it must have been an "accident", but to let her know if it happens again.  HA!  Caught "Nosy B*tch" messing with my work & now my supervisor is aware of it.  If it happens again it won't look like so much of an "accident".

New trainees have started and my supervisor chose "Nosy B*tch" and I to teach them (even though a few others have been there much longer than I am), which gives me positive reinforcement that I must be doing something right for her to chose me to train someone new (even when I am fairly new myself).  I'm sure that boils "Nosy B*tch's" blood to know that I've only been there a short time, and I'm already at her level.

Another reason my husband and I have concluded that "Nosy B*tch" probably has it out for me is because the one guy at work that she thinks is hot (and has talked about it ever since I started) used to flirt with her and move around stuff on her desk (childish way to flirt in my opinion).  NOW...he tries to flirt with me and messes with stuff on MY desk - great...   #1  I'm married.  #2  He's not hot  #3  HE's married!  I'm sure that is just another tally against me as to why "Nosy B*tch" would like me to fail.  I inadvertently stole her 'work crush'.

Anyway, enough about that mess!  I recently started Zumba with my mother-in-law (she has been going for 3 years).  I am amazed by how much sweat I POUR within an hour while doing this stuff.  I have learned that I am indeed NOT coordinated - I stumble around like a drunken peg-legged pirate.  I am feeling less physically weak though, so I imagine it is helping in that respect.  It has been on my "bucket list" to try (who doesn't have one of those these days?), so I'm happy that I marked another new activity off of my list.

My husband is doing well at his new job.  His workplace did their annual review for everyone (even though he had only been there 3 months at that point).  He figured that they would review him, but understood that an annual raise was out of the question.  However, he was floored when they gave him a raise.  He figured it would at least be pro-rated for the time he had been there, however they gave him a full 4% raise due to how much change and growth he has spurred within the company in his short time there.  He's doing so well, and I'm so proud of him for it.  I wish I could emulate that success for myself - which he tried to point out to me that I earned a 4% raise after my 30 day review.  I just didn't consider it to be as substantial because I don't make as much as him, but I suppose I need to be proud of myself for achieving it anyway.

Our home is still on the market, although we had a very promising showing on Friday (the day we buried a Saint Joseph statue in our yard- which is supposed to help sell your home- a tradition).  The people who saw it called back that same day to ask about our average electric bills, water bills, taxes, etc.  Stuff people normally wouldn't ask unless they are fairly interested, so I'm hoping we'll hear something back from them this week.

  1. That's good things are looking up. That's so crazy she wsa trying to set you up. That's some serious hatred she's showing. If she gets fired at some point for it she might go crazy!
